The Denbigh Show is an outdoor traditional family event held in the beautiful historic market town of Denbigh within the picturesque vale of Clwyd.
The Show offers a great variety of entertainment and brings together a whole host of local organisations in celebration of the best of the town. Below is our entertainment programme with an interesting and varied range of activities and displays to suit all age groups. We love to offer variety so all our main arena entertainment is fresh and has not performed at our Show before.

Defying Gravity
This fantastic display is the only show of its kind in the world, it’s fresh and new and has never been seen before.
The performance combines freestyle BMX and the extreme sport of mountainboarding which results in a breath taking, jaw dropping ariel performance which is suitable for audiences of all ages.

Ridgeside Falconry
The largest mobile Falconry display team in the Country, Ridgeside, are coming to Denbigh with their fantastic birds of prey from around the world, including owls, falcons, hawks, eagles and vultures. Many of the birds are previous stars of TV and Film. See them up close in a static display and then take to the Vale of Clwyd sky in all their majesty.
‘The Little Nippers Racing’
The ‘Little Nippers’ are part of the Ridgeside Falconry Family –bringing real mayhem to shows and fayres all over the UK with the ‘Little Nippers Racing’.
Phill will provide humorous commentary as they race both over obstacles and at full speed chasing the electric lure. They offer a fast, action-packed demonstration which will appeal to all ages. The public will have the chance to “have a go” with their own dogs – whatever their breed!

Gatling Magic
This mystic figure, aka The Wizard of Conwy will be crossing the County line into Denbighshire to thrill and enthrall with his close up street magic. Come and see him in action, he’s not to be missed. Gatling Magic >
Denbigh Community Archive Group
See historical Denbigh with group members on hand to help you place that picture! This year the Group will be featuring their historic journey to create the Denbigh Museum which has recently opened in the former Butter Market. Visit Website >
Slot Car Racing
Maybe you haven’t tried this for years or maybe you are an expert but come and have a go on our slot car circuit. After a successful introduction to the Denbigh Show last year, they are back, bigger better and faster. Food Hall
Food Hall Now a regular Show feature, we will have again be staging a food hall as an extension to the main display marquee. Come and sample local produce at it’s best with several local producers now confirmed. If you would like a pitch in the food hall, please get in touch by email
The Annual Denbigh Flower Show
The flower show as always offered visitors a huge marquee full of all kinds of flowers, fruit and vegetables, paintings, handcraft, art, photography and much more with over 60 cups and trophies for the winners.
Treasure Trail
Pick up a Children’s Treasure Trail map so you can learn all about the different parts of the show. Explore plants and vegetables and unusual features in the marquee. Solve the puzzles along the way and get your word clues to crack the secret password as only this will unlock the treasure chest. Free to enter.
Classic Cars
A range of classic cars and motorcycles from exhibitors all over North Wales and beyond will have a static display throughout the day. A great display is planned this year with a record 60 exhibits already booked in, there is bound to be something that will jog your memory to days gone by.
Fun Dog Show
This year we have partnered with Animal Musketeers Dog & Cat Rescue who will be running an 12 class fun Dog Show from 2pm. Entry is on the day in advance of each category. Wireless in Wales
Gwefr Heb Wifrau – Wireless in Wales: the radio museum in Denbigh will again display items from its collection of old radio equipment and be on hand to answer any questions on or share your memories of broadcasting through the ages.
Junior Roll The Barrel
The Rotary Club of Denbigh return with their famous Roll the Barrel to the Denbigh Show. Kids can race the clock with certificates and prizes for the winners! No Charge
Ferret Racing
Come and see the Ferrets with Eric, their handler. See them race with all funds raised for charity
Book Signing
Tom Mallalieu always wanted to teach but the students at Ysgol Abaty – a special school in North Wales – didn’t always want to learn, until running and a love of the mountains of Eryri brought them together.
Local author, Gene Moran will be at the Show selling signed copies of his debut novel, Running on the Spectrum.
