The Denbigh Show is an outdoor traditional family event held in the beautiful historic market town of Denbigh within the picturesque vale of Clwyd.
The Show offers a great variety of entertainment and brings together a whole host of local organisations in celebration of the best of the town. We are now finalising our entertainment programme for 2024 with an interesting and varied range of activities and displays to suit all age groups and thanks to everyone for the wonderful feedback.

Pedal Power vs Parkour
Pedal Power vs Parkour is the only show of its kind in the UK. The display combines the incredible skill, balance and power of a trials rider and the finesse of a gymnast / parkour athlete. Both athletes will be putting it all on the line in an attempt to become the crowds’ favourite!
Both styles of extreme sport will be showcased in an exciting, heart stopping performance. You can expect both athletes to perform all of the latest tricks you have only ever seen on the internet and on TV, pushing the limits of what’s physically possible in their attempt to win over the crowd!
The parkour athlete will take advantage of a number of trampolines that are placed around the arena demonstrating the huge double front flips and double backflips are mightily impressive, he’s also been known to front flip over the trials rider when he’s in action.
In an attempt to take all the glory the trials rider will also venture onto the trampoline, he’s the only stunt cyclist in the world performing tricks on a trampoline and if he ‘nails’ his move he’s sure to win the crowd over.
Longton Sheepdogs
Thomas and Steven Longton carry on the Longton family tradition of training, working and trialling trained sheepdogs and this year are coming to Denbigh!
Thomas hosts Sheepdog displays and demonstrations with sheep/geese/ducks all over the British Isles. He has appeared on various Country TV shows on the BBC; including ‘One Man and His Dog’ They are both informative and amusing, especially when the ducks are misbehaving. Children like to see the ducks especially.
LIVE MUSIC with The KEENAN JONES BAND
We are delighted that Denbigh’s very own KEENAN JONES BAND will be once again returning to perform at this year’s Show. Playing at the bar area in the afternoon
The Wizard of Conwy
This mystic figure will be crossing the County line into Denbighshire to thrill and enthrall with his close up street magic. Come and see if wizard of Conwy in action, he’s not to be missed.
CJ Falconry
You must see these majestic Birds of Prey in flight or Owls in Hand courtesy of local CJ Falconry.
Denbigh Community Archive Group
See historical Denbigh with group members on hand to help you place that picture! This years theme is ‘Religion in Denbigh’ which will include exhibits on various ecclesiastical buildings, choirs, Sunday School trips etc through the years! Visit Website >

Slot Car Racing
Maybe you haven’t tried this for years or maybe you are an expert but come and have a go on our slot car circuit. After a successful introduction to the Denbigh Show last year, they are back, bigger better and faster. Food Hall
Food Hall Now in it’s fourth year, we will have again be staging a food hall as an extension to the main display marquee. Come and sample local produce at it’s best with several local producers now confirmed. If you would like a pitch in the food hall, please get in touch by email
The Annual Denbigh Flower Show
The flower show as always offered visitors a huge marquee full of all kinds of flowers, fruit and vegetables, paintings, handcraft, art, photography and much more with over 60 cups and trophies for the winners.
Treasure Trail
Pick up a Children’s Treasure Trail map so you can learn all about the different parts of the show. Explore plants and vegetables and unusual features in the marquee. Solve the puzzles along the way and get your word clues to crack the secret password as only this will unlock the treasure chest. Free to enter.
Classic Cars
A range of classic cars and motorcycles from exhibitors all over North Wales and beyond will have a static display throughout the day. A great display is planned this year with a record 60 exhibits already booked in, there is bound to be something that will jog your memory to days gone by.
Fun Dog Show
This year we have partnered with Ark Angels Animal Rescue who will be running an 12 class fun Dog Show from 2pm. Entry is on the day in advance of each category. There is a full list of categories on our download page or click here.
Wireless in Wales
Gwefr Heb Wifrau – Wireless in Wales: the radio museum in Denbigh will again display items from its collection of old radio equipment and be on hand to answer any questions on or share your memories of broadcasting through the ages.
Junior Roll The Barrel
The Rotary Club of Denbigh return with their famous Roll the Barrel to the Denbigh Show. Kids can race the clock with certificates and prizes for the winners! No Charge
Ferret Racing
Come and see the Ferrets with Eric, their handler. See them race with all funds raised for charity
Book Signing
Tom Mallalieu always wanted to teach but the students at Ysgol Abaty – a special school in North Wales – didn’t always want to learn, until running and a love of the mountains of Snowdonia brought them together.
Local author, Gene Moran will be at the Show selling signed copies of his debut novel, Running on the Spectrum.
