The Denbigh Show is an outdoor traditional family event held in the beautiful historic market town of Denbigh within the picturesque vale of Clwyd.
The Show offers a great variety of entertainment and brings together a whole host of local organisations in celebration of the best of the town. Once again the 2022 Show will be filled with an interesting and varied range of activities and displays to suit all age groups.
Here are the main attractions for 2022:
The Mighty Smith Show
Adrian Smith, 5th in the World’s Strongest Man and three times winner of UK’s Strongest Man Competition, presents a show geared for family fun with visual humour and audience participation.
Tearing up Argos books, bending six inch nails in his teeth, walking on a bed of broken glass, holding a chair with a seated lady on it in his teeth. Also presenting a children’s tug of war with prizes. These along with more serious feats of strength – including a vehicle pull.
The Dangerous Steve Show
It’s non-stop, thrill-a-minute with Dangerous Steve’s Fire and Chainsaw juggling, Giant Unicycle, Ladder Balancing and Blindfold Motorcycle riding in an hilarious and dynamic act full of sensational stunts, it’s a real crowd pleaser for all the family!
LIVE MUSIC with BEATPILOTS
Three men. One stage. As good as the best and better than the rest. The Beat Pilots are the North West’s premier rock-and-roll cover band; belting out legendary licks from the most influential rock icons from the last 50 years, from Arctics through to Zeppelin. Playing at the Bar area from 2pm.
The Wizard of Conwy
This mystic figure will be crossing the County line into Denbighshire to thrill and enthrall with his close up street magic. Come and see if wizard of Conwy in action, he’s not to be missed
CJ Falconry
You must see these majestic Birds of Prey in flight or Owls in Hand courtesy of local CJ Falconry.

Slot Car Racing
Maybe you haven’t tried this for years or maybe you are an expert but come and have a go on our slot car circuit. After a successful introduction to the Denbigh Show last year, they are back, bigger better and faster. Food Hall
Food Hall Now in it’s fourth year, we will have again be staging a food hall as an extension to the main display marquee. Come and sample local produce at it’s best with several local producers now confirmed. If you would like a pitch in the food hall, please get in touch by email
Punch & Judy
Children and parents can enjoy the free and much loved traditional puppet shows of Punch and Judy run throughout the day.
The Annual Denbigh Flower Show
The flower show as always offered visitors a huge marquee full of all kinds of flowers, fruit and vegetables, paintings, handcraft, art, photography and much more with over 60 cups and trophies for the winners.
Treasure Trail
Pick up a Children’s Treasure Trail map so you can learn all about the different parts of the show. Explore plants and vegetables and unusual features in the marquee. Solve the puzzles along the way and get your word clues to crack the secret password as only this will unlock the treasure chest. Free to enter.
Classic Cars
A range of classic cars and motorcycles from exhibitors all over North Wales and beyond will have a static display throughout the day. With about 50 exhibits there is bound to be something that will jog your memory to days gone by.
Strictly Fun Dog Show
Dog lovers (adults and children) will again join in our fun dog show which is always a show favourite. See our downloads page for an entry form. Free to enter
Wireless in Wales
Gwefr Heb Wifrau – Wireless in Wales: the radio museum in Denbigh will again display items from its collection of old radio equipment and be on hand to answer any questions on or share your memories of broadcasting through the ages.
Junior Roll The Barrel
The Rotary Club of Denbigh return with their famous Roll the Barrel to the Denbigh Show. Kids can race the clock with certificates and prizes for the winners! No Charge
Ferret Racing
Come and see the Ferrets with Eric, their handler. See them race with all funds raised for charity
Book Signing
Tom Mallalieu always wanted to teach but the students at Ysgol Abaty – a special school in North Wales – didn’t always want to learn, until running and a love of the mountains of Snowdonia brought them together.
Local author, Gene Moran will be at the Show selling signed copies of his debut novel, Running on the Spectrum.
